The BluePEF web application was developed solely for research purposes and to raise awareness around Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) calculation. It is not intended for commercial use or any kind of user profiling.
We do not collect or store any real personal data. During registration, a random (fake) email and password are generated and shown to the user for access. This allows full anonymity, while still enabling use of the app functionalities.
Users are asked to select their country and city. This information is required only to calculate the geographical distance relevant to the PEF process. It is not used for any tracking or marketing purposes.
We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking. The only cookies present are those automatically managed by the Symfony framework to support technical functionality of the application.
We do not log user activities, nor do we collect usage statistics. No data is shared or analysed for business or marketing purposes. The application is entirely free from any promotional intent.
Although no personal data is stored, the application is hosted securely and follows standard practices (such as encrypted connections via HTTPS) to ensure the system's integrity.
This policy may be updated as the project evolves. Any changes will be clearly communicated via the application interface.
